Jim Graham, CLCS
Agency President
In 2015, I received my certification for Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist. In 2021, I received my certification for Certified Professional Insurance Agent. I have had a long and successful career in the insurance industry. In fact, I’ve been an Agency Owner/ President for over 23 years now. Before going into insurance, I was an elementary school teacher for 12 years! I began teaching elementary school in the fall of 1987. In the summer of 1999, I moved back to my hometown of Greensburg to begin learning the insurance business. In 2001 when my father retired, I bought his agency.
I was born and raised in Greensburg, where I graduated from Hempfield Area High School in 1982. After, I attended Slippery Rock University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. While teaching in Columbus, I met and married my wife, Beth. We live in Hempfield where we raised three amazing children. Family values have always been something that is important to me, and I strive to make the well-being of families our agency’s number one priority.
I work with middle school and high students at my church, which I enjoy very much. I have a little brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters, and I’m an active member of two chambers of commerce where I attend many functions, serve on several committees, and chair a few.
One of the best parts about my job is having the opportunity to sit down with businesses and help them to fix mistakes in their policies. There are a lot of mistakes that cause businesses to have unpaid claims, that otherwise would have been paid. That way, I can make certain that our customers are making the most informed decisions about their coverage!
Something most people don’t know about me is my guilty pleasure is public speaking- whether it be in front of a crowd speaking about insurance or preaching at my church.
On the weekends I enjoy fishing, golfing, and anything outdoors.
Charity work has always been something important to me. I do not have a favorite charity; but I do enjoy being a member and serving the clubs I am involved in. At Graham Insurance Group, we strive to make giving back part of our daily lives!

I have been working in the insurance industry since 1998. I have had many roles since I began my career. I am currently focusing on commercial sales and service. I enjoy helping clients understand the importance of protecting their most valued assets whether it be their home, automobiles, or commercial endeavors. My favorite component of my job has always been knowing that I am helping to provide peace of mind for our customers.

I was born and raised in Aberdeen, MD but have since called this community my home.
I graduated from Seton Hill University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Finance. I worked many years in the accounting field along with tax preparation until I found my niche in the insurance community.
In my free time, one of the things I like to do is cook. I enjoy finding new recipes to try and spend hours reading cookbooks as well as searching online for inspiration. I also love spending time with my grandchildren, Freya and Silas. I am so lucky they live close by.
My happy place has always been the beach. I find the ocean and the crashing sound of the waves to be very relaxing. My favorite beach is Outer Banks in North Carolina.
My favorite charity is Action for Animals. It was established in 1983 by my husband’s family. It is one of the few no-kill shelters in the area. They rescue and provide care for abused, neglected and stray dogs and cats until loving furever homes are found. In addition to the rescue and adoption of 700-800 animals each year, AFA provides low cost spay/neuter services to the public, helping eliminate the cruelty of animal overpopulation.

For two years I lived in Pittsburgh while pursuing my education, and now live in the city of New Florence, where I was born and raised. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My favorite part of my job is continuing to keep our business organized and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
One of my favorite hobbies is traveling, and something I hope to do forever. I love the beach and being surrounded by warm weather.
My favorite non-profit organizations are Beverly's Birthdays, which helps children to celebrate their birthdays when they normally wouldn't be able to; and The Ronald McDonald House, which supports families in remaining together during extremely trying times.
