Jim Graham, CLCS

Agency President

I have had a long and successful career in the insurance industry. In fact, I’ve been an agency owner/ President for over 18 years now. I was born and raised in Hempfield Township here in Westmoreland County. Afterward, I attended Slippery Rock University where I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. I have always been passionate about education and helping children secure a brighter future. Before going into insurance, I was an elementary school teacher for 12 years!

One of the best parts about my job is having the opportunity to sit down with clients and help them better understand what those coverage numbers mean. That way, I can make certain that our customers are making the most informed decisions about their coverages!

My three great loves in my life are my family, my volunteer work with the youth of my church, and spending time outdoors. Family values have always been something that is important to me, and I strive to make the wellbeing of families our agency’s number one priority.

On the weekends I am doing any number of outdoor activities that I enjoy whether it be hunting, fishing or golfing. Either way, you can find me spending most of my time in the woods. Something most people know about me is that my guilty pleasures are public speaking—whether it be in front of a crowd speaking about insurance, or preaching at youth church whenever I am asked.

I volunteer extensively at my church where I am a leader in both Student Ministries and Young Adult Ministries. Charity work has always been something important to me, that’s why here at the Graham Insurance Group, we strive to make giving back part of our daily lives! I am also a board member for the Central Westmorland Habitat for Humanity.

Patti Prettiman

Vice President

I have greatly enjoyed my 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. My favorite component of my job has always been knowing that I am helping to provide peace of mind for our customers. I was born and raised in Aberdeen, MD but have since called this community my home.

I feel very fulfilled after helping our clients understand their insurance needs as well as educating them on why insurance is so essential. It certainly isn’t a commodity! In my free time, one of the things I like to do most is cook. I enjoy finding new recipes to try and I am always reading magazines, cookbooks as well as searching the internet for inspiration. I absolutely adore spending time with my Granddaughter–she is my first grandchild and I love her very much.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me planning my next trip to the beach. I find the ocean and crashing sound of the waves to be very relaxing. My favorite charity is Action for Animals–I support them every chance I can! In fact, all of my animals have been rescued pets and my in-laws actually founded the charity in 1983!

Marla Fleming

Associate Agent

I grew up in Penn Trafford, Irwin area. I am a fully licensed insurance agent and PA Notary. I have been in the insurance industry for a little over 6 years now. I have always enjoyed the insurance world. I like helping customers understand what insurance they have or need rather than just paying a monthly bill. When I get referrals it is the best compliment, because I know I made a good impression on that customer for them to share my name with their friends and family. Besides my work, I spend all my time with my family. I have three young kids, Raelynn, Parker, and Isabelle. So we are constantly on the move with activities; like cheer, karate, and basketball. If we do not have activities going on we like to spend our time going on adventures. Whether it is finding a new walking trail or park or spending the day at Grammy and Poppy’s farm. I support Autism Awareness for my nephew.

Christa Griffith

Business Manager

I was born & raised in New Stanton, where I am back to living now with my husband and three kids! I spent a year living in Tennessee and a year in Delaware while working for US Airways. I am the Business Manager at Graham Insurance Group Inc. I love being able to make sense of the ins and outs of the business. Keeping things running smoothly & efficiently puts a smile on my face.

I love spending time with my husband, Greg, and three kids – Ellie, Abby and Tommy. Being outdoors exploring or traveling is my favorite. My favorite way to spend a weekend is out in the sunshine with friends and family. I am a Girl Scout troop leader for my daughters’ troop. We have 43 girls now, so that keeps me busy.
